How do solar pool covers work?

Solar pool covers or blankets, are specially designed sheets that are placed over your pool in order to contain warmth. Solar pool covers work by creating a barrier between the water and the air. Additionally, as the blanket covers the pool water, evaporation is greatly reduced, ensuring that the warm water stays in your pool.
